iDESK World News is a publishing site first. Our job is to give readers clear articles, honest labeling, and easy ways to contact the publisher when something needs correction.
Original articles live under clear URLs, show an author, publication date, and—when applicable—an update date. Third-party wire headlines that appear on the homepage are labeled as external summaries and link to their source publishers.
Original content on iDESK World News is written for readers: explainers, standards pages, and media-literacy guides that help people understand news and digital privacy. We do not mass-generate thin pages solely to increase ad inventory.
If we summarize another outlet’s headline on the homepage, we do not present that summary as our own exclusive reporting. Readers should always be able to tell whether they are reading our work or following an outbound link.
If you spot a factual error in our original pages, contact the publisher using the Contact page. We will review the note, correct the page when warranted, and update the “Updated” timestamp so the change is visible.

We would rather publish fewer careful pieces than fill the homepage with unmarked filler. If a page feels thin, confusing, or mislabeled, tell us—reader notes help keep the standard honest.
