iDESK World News participates in Google AdSense / Google advertising when configured, keeps ads distinguishable from editorial content, and does not ask readers to click ads.
Participation in Google AdSense
iDESK World News participates in the Google AdSense program (Google advertising) when advertising is enabled on this site. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Display advertising
When AdSense is configured and you allow advertising cookies, labeled “Advertisement” units may appear on content-rich pages (for example article top/middle/bottom or sidebar). Ads are not placed on login/admin pages, error pages, empty search results, or location-capture tooling routes.
What we will not do
- Ask you to click ads or “support us” by interacting with ads
- Disguise ads as navigation, downloads, or editorial recommendations
- Fill thin or empty pages with ads
- Use pop-under or deceptive redirect advertising patterns
- Artificially generate ad clicks, conceal ad links, or require an ad interaction before opening content
- Cluster many ad units against each other without substantial publisher content between them
Sponsored content
If we publish sponsored material, it will be clearly labeled in the article. Paid links use appropriate rel attributes such as rel="sponsored" where applicable.
Affiliate links
If an article contains affiliate links, we will disclose that relationship near the top of the article. Affiliate content must still provide genuine useful information and must not become the primary purpose of the site.
Privacy
Advertising technologies are consent-gated. See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
